The Glock42 is a .380 ACP caliber subcompact semi-automatic pistol with a 3.25-inch barrel and 6 rounds of ammunition capacity in the magazine. This firearm was designed to be easy to conceal carry due to its small size and lightweight design.

The GLOCK model 42 also features an ambidextrous safety lever for right or left-handed shooters, a rounded trigger guard built into the frame so it does not snag on clothing when drawing from concealment, no finger grooves for a better grip, GLOCK’s trademarked three-dot luminous sights, and GLOCK night sights which are available as an option.
